In the past, Visa, MasterCard, and Fidelity have reported an excessively high spike in fraudulent counterfeited swiped transactions all over the country. These fraudulent charges are being made equally on both credit and debit cards and affecting both banks and credit unions. They have also noticed a large number of business accounts being affected. This business card compromise is a new trend that has never been seen before. These counterfeited cards are being used predominantly at large retail stores, restaurants and automated gas stations in CA, FL, LA, IL, TX, OH, NY and AZ. International fraud was also detected in Canada and Mexico. So far, no fraudulent ATM or PIN activities have been noted.
Please review your account activity frequently and report any suspicious card transactions to us immediately.
